Martin Goldberg joined Carl Marks Management Company in 2023. His prior experience includes his role as a Managing Director at York Capital Management where he worked for approximately 17 years helping the firm grow its global alternative asset management business from $2 billion under management to peak assets of $26 billion across a range of credit and equity strategies. Additional experience includes his role at Firebird Grove, where he served as the COO of the real estate investment platform, and his role at Deutsche Bank, where he was a Vice President in the investment banking division. Mr. Goldberg began his career at Debevoise & Plimpton as a corporate lawyer advising private equity and alternative asset fund sponsors.

Mr. Goldberg earned a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA from Yeshiva University.
