Scott Webb co-heads the firm’s special situations investment banking platform and is a recognized leader in his field. He focuses on advising clients going through transition or dislocation on financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raises with passion, creativity, deep expertise, and smart, innovative solutions. He has more than 15 years of experience successfully completing over 50 transactions and has spearheaded many of the firm’s most complex transactional engagements.
Mr. Webb has had great success optimizing stakeholder value by providing advisory services to both public and private companies, owners and management teams, Boards of Directors, private equity groups, lenders, investors, trustees, and official and ad hoc creditors committees on the full spectrum of financial restructuring engagements, including Section 363 Sales and internal reorganizations both in- and out-of-court. These assignments span various industries, including healthcare, energy, professional services, manufacturing, consumer products, print, media, and real estate. He also has provided valuations, fairness opinions and testified as an expert witness in bankruptcy court.
In 2018, Mr. Webb was named M&A Advisor Top 50 Americas Rising Star Dealmakers and 9th Annual Emerging Leaders Award Winner. He has led many award-winning transactions, including Norte III (2018 10th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards – Cross Border Special Situation M&A Deal, 2018 Power Finance and Risk – Latin America Conventional Project Finance Deal of the Year, 2018 M&A Advisor’s International Private Equity Deal of the Year, 2017 Project Finance International – Latin American Power Deal of the Year), PJ Finance Company (M&A Advisor Turnaround Atlas Awards Real Estate Deal of the Year) and Northern Berkshire Health (Healthcare Services Deal of the Year – Northern Berkshire Health).
Mr. Webb has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and a graduate of the McKinsey Management Program.
