Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR functions for our firm and its business groups, approximately 50 employees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, talent acquisition, performance review processes, onboarding/offboarding, benefits and employee relations. We are seeking an experienced HR generalist who takes initiative, can collaborate well across diverse business units and embraces change where needed. This will be the sole HR professional at the firm. The right candidate will be flexible, innovative and excited to bring new ideas to the table. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The Human Resources Manager will work alongside senior leaders; the right candidate will be articulate, confident and charismatic.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all human capital-related matters
  • Understand the business, people and strategies for all divisions to provide strategic insights and drive coordinated HR strategy and systems
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes in human resources, talent management and employment law
  • Manage and administer firm-wide benefits
  • Lead firm-wide talent acquisition efforts in partnership with the business groups where applicable
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Coordinate with business groups on performance evaluations and compensation where applicable
  • Handle all employee relations responsibilities, in partnership with legal counsel when necessary
  • Manage diversity and inclusion efforts
  • Manage family office-related human resources issues, potentially including domestic employees

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of HR experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with an outstanding academic record
  • Experience building strong relationships and credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • A strong background in the development and execution of all HR programs, processes and systems
  • Business acumen and familiarity with investment management preferred
  • Knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of HR functions: compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations and HR systems
