Carl Marks Advisors Welcomes Back Benjiman Godbout
New York, July 21, 2020 – Carl Marks Advisors, a leading investment bank providing financial and operational advisory services to middle-market companies, today announced that Benjiman B. Godbout has rejoined the firm as a Director to focus on investment banking and distressed transactions. Godbout previously worked at Carl Marks Advisors from 2015 to 2018 providing restructuring and operational advisory services.
Prior to rejoining Carl Marks Advisors, Godbout worked at Summit Investment Management as a private equity investor in the special situations and underwriting group. During this time, he closed investments across a variety of industries and executed several asset divestitures. Earlier in his career, Godbout was a Senior Associate at Deloitte and an Associate at Capstone Advisory Group.

Godbout holds an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a BA from the University of Western Ontario. He is a FINRA General Securities Representative, and will be based in the New York offices of Carl Marks Advisors.
