Billy J. Kirkpatrick has over 30 years of experience as a senior executive, performing corporate financial and operations functions. He possesses wide ranging financial and operations experience, strong analytical and communications skills, and seasoned judgment, allowing him to accomplish overall organizational goals by cooperatively executing solutions that cross multiple lines of organization.
Mr. Kirkpatrick has served in various roles for a myriad of companies, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer, Corporate Controller, and Creditor Advisor. His wide spectrum of industry experience has included oil and gas services, steel, copper and chemical manufacturing, food production and distribution, entertainment (theme park), business services, and transportation and logistics.

Restructuring Advisor to Action Resources, a provider of specialized transportation and environmental services. He was part of a Carl Marks Chief Restructuring Officer team that worked with management, legal and investment banking constituents to identify and implement profit restoration initiatives and successfully restructure the debt and capital structures of the company.
Refinance adviser to lenders of Sager Creek Vegetable Company (formerly Allen’s Canning), a producer and distributor of canned vegetables. He was part of a Carl Marks team that monitored operations and lender collateral while a successful sale process was consummated with Del Monte Foods.
Restructuring and refinancing advisor to Griffin Technology, a provider of peripheral products for mobile devices, including smartphones, tablet computers and MP3 Players. Part of a Carl Marks team that performed a full operational and financial assessment to identify areas for improvement and implement restructuring initiatives. Also, provided guidance to refinance a new ABL line of credit.
Restructuring Advisor and Interim Chief Financial Officer to Hettinger LLC, a provider of in-field construction services to the oil and gas industry. He was part of a Carl Marks team that performed a full operational and financial assessment to identify areas for improvement and implement restructuring initiatives.
Advisor to Conner Steel Products, an engineering and manufacturing firm producing steel and fiberglass tanks and to Hussey Copper Ltd., a manufacturer of copper products. For these clients, he performed full operational and financial assessments and provided business restructuring recommendations.
Restructuring Advisor to Centurion Auto Holdings, a provider of automotive logistics and hauling services in the Southeastern United States. There, he performed a business assessment, reviewed the company’s restructuring options and supporting forecasts and made recommendations to improve profitability. In addition, he monitored operations and lender collateral until the company was successfully refinanced.
Corporate Controller of Griffin LLC, a global manufacturer and distributor of generic crop protection chemicals. He was responsible for all corporate accounting, financial reporting, and operational planning with functional reporting responsibility for four regional finance directors and six manufacturing controllers.
Mr. Kirkpatrick earned a BS in Accounting from East Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Tennessee.
