Jette Campbell is a highly regarded advisor to lenders and business owners in the areas of financial restructuring, business strategy, and crisis management. He brings passion, creativity, deep expertise, and smart, innovative solutions to the clients of Carl Marks Advisors. He has more than 40 years of experience as an advisor and operating executive working with company owners and management teams, boards of directors, private equity groups, lenders, and investors.
Mr. Campbell’s engagements have spanned a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, grocery retail and distribution, healthcare, education, real estate, and financial services. Recent noteworthy engagements have involved Procure, Belle Foods, Piggly Wiggly, Legacy Cabinets, Florida Marine, Moore Handley, and Joan Fabric.
Prior to joining Carl Marks over a decade ago, Mr. Campbell served as CFO and head of corporate development at Griffin LLC, a joint venture with DuPont in the agricultural chemical industry. He has significant international experience, previously having served as CFO of the North European Snack Foods Division of PepsiCo in London. Additional previous positions include vice president and controller at Frito-Lay and partner at KPMG Peat Marwick.
Mr. Campbell earned a BS in Business Administration from Auburn University, where he also pursued graduate studies. In addition he received certification for the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School. He serves on the board of Schramm Inc. and Legacy Cabinets and on the Board of Trustees of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and Riverside Military Academy, Gainesville, GA.
