Maria Rios joined Carl Marks Management Company in 2008. She is responsible for monthly financial statements, SEC filings and compliance, and preparation of the tax returns.

Ms. Rios previously was Manager of the credit and mezzanine debt funds at The Carlyle Group. Prior to that, Ms. Rios was a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office. Ms. Rios earned her MS in Accountancy from the University of Virginia and her BA in Economics/Business and Psychology from Lafayette College. Ms. Rios is a Certified Public Accountant.
