Michael Lee joined Carl Marks Management Company in 2012. Prior to then he was a vice president at Whippoorwill Associates, an alternative asset manager focused on middle market credit. Mr. Lee began his career at KPMG as a forensic accounting associate. Following KPMG, he joined Citigroup as an analyst in the Global Portfolio Management group, where he helped to manage a corporate loan portfolio for companies in the consumer and healthcare industries.

Mr. Lee received a BA in Business-Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a CFA charterholder.
