Ray Kieliszak

Ray Kieliszak is a senior executive with over 30 years’ experience leading business and managing Operations, including start-ups, turnarounds, development and implementation of process improvement plans, and strategic planning. He provides executive advisory and interim C-level leadership to businesses in distress or in transition, primarily small to medium sized family owned or Private Equity portfolio firms. Ray is skilled at assessing executive teams for strengths, weaknesses, and dysfunction, and building the team to lead future growth and profitability.

During a 10-year career at General Motors, his roles included supervision, industrial engineering, finance, and materials management. He became Plant Manager for a $50mm Tier One automotive manufacturer, where he successfully negotiated a contract with the UAW with over $1mm in concessions. He then served as Vice President of Operations for a $60mm PE-owned machining company that was entering the automotive sector. He successfully performed an operations turnaround for one division, and performed a greenfield startup of another division, a heavy duty truck supplier.  He has extensive experience in all types of metal working, other manufacturing, food and beverage, oil & gas, aerospace/defense, injection molding, home building products, and automotive sectors.

Mr. Kieliszak has demonstrated a unique blend of hands-on operations experience, combined with financial and Industrial Engineering skills, as well as executive leadership at multiple businesses.  Mr. Kieliszak received his BA from St. John Fisher College and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He is an active member of the Upstate NY Chapter of the TMA.
