Scott Webb is a Partner at Carl Marks Advisors where he has focused on advising clients throughout the capital structure on financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and distressed capital raises. He bringing passion, creativity, deep expertise, and smart, innovative solutions to our clients. He has more than 12 years of experience successfully closing over 50 transactions.

Mr. Webb has had great success optimizing stakeholder value by providing advisory services to both public and private companies, owners and management teams, Boards of Directors, private equity groups, lenders, investors, trustees, and official and ad hoc creditors committees on the full spectrum of financial restructuring engagements, including Section 363 Sales and internal reorganizations both in- and out-of-court. He also has provided valuations, fairness opinions, and testified as an expert witness in bankruptcy court. These assignments span a number of industries, including healthcare, energy, manufacturing, consumer products, print, media, and real estate.

Mr. Webb’s recent notable engagements have included Triad Isotopes, Inc., Norte III, Biofuel Energy Corp., Abengoa Bioenergy US, Green Field Energy Services Inc., Coastal Concrete Southeast II, DirectBuy Inc., Innkeepers USA Trust, MSD Performance Inc., Northern Berkshire Healthcare Inc., Physiotherapy Holdings, Inc., and PJ Finance Company, LLC.

Prior to joining Carl Marks, Mr. Webb worked at Franklin Hamilton, a middle market investment bank. During this time, he completed a variety of merger and acquisition assignments for companies within the insurance, manufacturing, oil & gas, and energy sub-sectors.

Mr. Webb graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Business Administration and is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative.
